I wasn't expecting what this game was, and it had some themes that were very intense, so play this game and watch videos at your own risk.
That being said, this game was incredibly built. The idea that the routine that we follow was being used to suppress memories was fantastically done through the use of repetition. The small differences with the character giving up on certain tasks every day also helped build to a sense of helplessness, while the items within the environment were able to help tell a story that didn't necessarily need to be told through the use of the atmosphere. Speaking of, the atmosphere was amazing. Being required to turn lights on and off added a sense of uneasiness that I wouldn't have expected from such a simple task, and this game really brought up some feelings on events in my own life that I never really talked about. I was caught so off guard by this game, and the ramblings of my own experiences at the end proved it. Very well done.
A dark and sombre story inside a womans mind carrying the thoughts for so long , a really well put together game. The game felt like it lacked a little colour but that could be due to the tone of the game , maybe there could be colours in the photos and over time the colour fades and some morbid imagery appears , maybe when she is asleep there could be whispers running through the events to really bring it all home, but only suggestions to what is already a good game that conveys a powerful message.
I featured this in my compilation, it is the second video.
I had a feeling that I'd see something horrible if I looked out the window! Guess what? haha this game has a nice way of unveiling its deeper meaning. You're not really expecting such a curveball as you're completing the routine every night. Slowly, but surely, that small crack on your 'dam' deepens. Looking forward to playing more from you!
This game was really good and very atmospheric! I did not expect it to take the story route that it did, but it hit very deep and left me somewhat broken and it stuck with me a while after playing it. And that always means a game has done its job and much more! Keep developing!
I was in love with the aesthetic when I first fired Subconscious up. The game quickly sucks you into its world, which is made up of a tortured woman’s mind. Even from the safety of her home, her demons don’t go away; they only get closer. Without giving anything away, give Subconscious a try if you want to experience a horror story built on pain, and stays with you long after you stop playing.
I like how the plot in the game slowly reveals itself. The game was excellent at telling a heart wrenching story and the ending left me a little empty. A short yet rich experience, simple yet complex. I enjoyed playing this game to the fullest.
The overwhelming sense of dread is almost unbearable. This is a good experience, and it really does spread awareness of some very sensitive subject matter, but it was almost just too much for me. I had goosebumps throughout. It heavily reminds me of The Static Speaks My Name. Good luck on your future games :)
Very bad game. I won't even rate it and I love rating games. I'm a suicidal person and got kind of offended by this game, I'm sorry I don't wanna shit on your game, but I didn't like it.
Sorry you didn't like the game. Still, thank you for taking your time to check it out and share feedback, appreciate it :) Take care and hang in there!
This game was really good story-telling tbh, i really did enjoy this one... though it was a bit tough/disturbing to get through, in a good way. So great job, gave you a 5 star rating :)

I can't seem to find anything to do when you hear something "running around", am I missing something?
Heya! Have you tried finding the source of that "running around"? =)
Yeah, I seem to be blind, but I'll look into it a bit more then as long as there isn't a dead end :)
Can confirm it's not a dead end ;) Also, headphones recommended =)
Yeah I was totally blind haha, figured it out, thanks bud :)
